It is our fault that the global warming is problem and that the ozone is being depleated. It is the human population that uses cars, factories, electricity, and doesn't recycle, that causes these problems. We use up all our resources that soon enough we won't have any more.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22484305.post-57435232474262608292009-02-05T15:32:00.000-05:002009-02-05T15:32:00.000-05:00ROBIN POZZII believe that since the economic probl...ROBIN POZZI

I believe that since the economic problem in America is so terrible that many people have forgotten about the problems with climate change. Since most of the “green products” are so expensive, countless people have boycotted them. Their theory is that the effects of the climate change problems won’t affect them in there life time so why do they need to worry about “saving the climate” and changed their ways. This all comes down too, that most Americans are scared of change. Many people are so fixed on their same daily routines that if they did have to change it they wouldn’t know what to do. This is why we need to start educating the children of America, because they are going to be the ones here when some of the effects start to occur.

ROBIN POZZIAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22484305.post-10059234755414900252007-11-28T17:26:00.000-05:002007-11-28T17:26:00.000-05:00All I can say is…we know smoking is a leader in ca...All I can say is…we know smoking is a leader in causing lung cancer, then why do people continue to smoke a pack a day? We know that drugs are bad for us and will shorten our life spans, then why abuse them? We know excessive consumption of alcohol causes to liver failure, but we continue to drink till we are drunk. I suppose we all know our planet is on a crash course for disaster, and people (most people) just do not seem to care. We know the risks, and they seem to fall by the wayside of the benefits.

I for one care, and would do much more if my wallet was big enough to support my many dreamlike environmental endeavors. People may act that it is a serious problem, but in reality they can care less. Despite such research that tells us that increase in CO2 in affecting climate change, despite the affects seen on the polar ice caps, despite the change in species’ habitats, we continue to sit around and do nothing. Although change is on the move, I do not believe we will do anything until something so drastic occurs that we are forced to, such as a hurricane that will wipe out the entire eastern sea board. Money is also an issue. Anything that costs so much now, for a cause that will not be seen now is automatically thrown away. It is our sense of caring about ourselves instead of our future generations that hurts us. So it’s unfortunate that we do not take problems such as climate change seriously, because in the end, when we do decide to act, it may be too late.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22484305.post-74940520204756918962008-03-16T12:10:00.000-04:002008-03-16T12:10:00.000-04:00I agree with your comments. They do not want to make the proper changes because, I feel the majority of people, are selfish, especially in the west. They do not want to be inconvenienced, they do not want to make less or have less in order to make a difference. Eventually envionmental issues are going to become such a major issue that restrictions are going to become mandatory. I fear by then it will be too late. We will lose more animal species, destroy more land and natural resources.

This is Dawn, by the way!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
